Pearrygin Lake Camping, 2004 Pearrygin Lake is located a couple of miles northeast of Winthrop, Washington. It's a fairly large lake, and it offers stocked rainbow trout, beaches, water skiing and other noisy adventures, and camping. Here are some pictures from this year's trip...

In and Around the Park
	Looking south from the side of the road at the lake's north end.		Ah, home, sweet home. Once the folly is up, we know shade is available, and we'd also be sheltered from rain.
Taking advantage of a slightly hazy morning, I hiked up the 500-ft hill next to the camp sites. The reward was this spectacular view of the lake.

	One last look before I climb back down, facing south-southeast along the ridge.		Walking down to the beach, I see Steve and Gary are fishing.
		Nearing sunset, looking up the lake to the north ... and northeast ...
	... and then the still of night is upon us.
Stuff to Do
	Steve, master chef of fish-frys, skillfully plying his avocation. And the main ingredient: fresh trout!
There's kayaking, ...			... toe nail polishing...
... cooking potatos...	... lounging around...	... more cooking (clam spaghetti)...
		And there are flowers to appreciate. At left is a blue gentian. At right is a scarlet gilia.
There's swimming, ...	... floating, ...	... getting the dogs wet, ...	... watching ducks, ...
... bird watching (grouse), ...		... and deer.
